Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason is pleased to distribute tetramer reagents for use by the scientific community through our Tetramer Core Laboratory.
The BRI Tetramer Core facility produces HLA class II tetramer reagents that can be used to individually label, enumerate, and sort T cells with known antigen specificity. The Tetramer Core Laboratory provides class II tetramer reagents for ~30 human HLA-DR, HLA-DP, and HLA-DQ alleles, providing extensive coverage of the general US population and of autoimmune associated haplotypes. Our proteins are produced as “empty” monomers and can be readily loaded with peptides of interest, thereby providing a vast array of custom tetramer reagents that can be provided to researchers inside or outside of BRI on a fee for service basis. The Tetramer Core at BRI has distributed class II tetramers to the scientific community all over the world. It has been selected as an NIH-designated central facility for production of human class II tetramers for the Immune Tolerance Network.
